The Pere Marquette hotel is an amazing hotel. HUGE and HIGH ceilings, amazingly detailed woodwork and unfortunately located in central Illinois and not Chicago, but still if you're in the area of Peoria, then stay here!

We have stayed here several times and we LOVE it! It os located right on downtown Peoria where all the fun and bars are. Price is about $80/night and up. You can't beat that.

The Pere Marquette Hotel was once a wonderful, exciting place to stay. Now, there are a few suites that are reserved for corporate business travelers or entertainers that stop in Peoria. The other rooms are not worth the money! I would…
